All hands! Read the post at Ripley‘s site and also this article in the New York Times! (sorry if you don’t have a password. go to bugmenot.com if you want to get a temporary password without giving all your info.

Police entered Kim’s Music and Video, which I’ve mentioned several times on this blog, moved all the customers and proceeded to lead 5 employee’s away in handcuffs while they searched for “Pirated Material”. One of those 5, the only one that I know personally although i’m sure I’d recognize by face the other 4, is Craig Willingham, aka I-Sound!

Now I only know what’s written in the times article and on mtv.com, but to me this seems, ludacris! Brits, Kim’s is an insitution, this action is similar to cops entering Blackmarket and leading away Nickie and Ray Keith for selling mix tapes… and I hope this will see huge backlash from the artist community, and that their pathetic attempts to swat at flies while they’re hemoraging money from other areas and trying to blame it on the internet and piracy with blow-up in their face. I await details, but I hope some positive good will come out of this, a kind of RIAA not welcome here movement. Downhill Battle, I look to you … what can we do?
